The five ferries is a challenging full day cycle, with hard climbs and long descents around some of Scotland’s finest scenery and also the challenge of making it on time for ferries along the way . It is a 55miles route in total and the takes in the following:
Brodick to Lochranza on the Isle of Arran: 14.9 miles.
Claonaig to Tarbet on the Kintyre Peninsula: 10.5 miles
Portavadie to Colintraive on the Cowal Peninsula: 19.2 miles.
Colintraive to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute: 8.3 miles.
Wemyss Bay to Ardrossan: 18.5 miles
If we can get a an idea of numbers who are interested we may be able to organise transport from Biggar.
We will need to be at for 8am ish to get our ferry tickets which will cost about £13.25.
