On Saturday the 18th of August (11am – 2pm) Biggar Cycling Club will be taking part in Active Experience Biggar, which is a day targeted at people aged 40+ to connect with local clubs and organisations in the community to get socially and physically active. For more details see the flyer below:

Membership fees for 2018 are now due! At the AGM in February we decided to freeze the membership fee at a very reasonable £15. Last week we had a catch-up with Scottish Cycling just to review how things were progressing with the club. One topic which was discussed was club membership. As discussed at the recent AGM, a trip is being organised to cycle part of the North 500 route. The itinerary is to head up on Friday 19th May, cycle approximately 90 miles with 10,000ft elevation gain on the Saturday, grab dinner and a couple of drinks at night, then head back down the road…
